Our Successful 2010 Event

Top executives all assembled for the International Outsourcing Forum 2010 held in the luxurious Hilton London Metropole, London, UK on 11 - 14 February.

This event once again proved to be both informative and enjoyable with delegates forging lasting relationships, creating new business partners and generating many new opportunities.

IOF 2010 included keynote presentations and workshops delivered by immanent speakers and panelists made up of industry experts as well as an intense schedule of pre-arranged and informal business meetings and networking. IOF 2010 saw global law firm Eversheds and leading consultants PriceWaterhouseCooper sharing their expertise and offering guidance as key organisations supporting the event. Between them both, these companies led a series of Masterclasses throughout the first day of IOF as well as other workshops during the event.

Alongside the conference programme, delegates at IOF 2010 enjoyed numerous opportunities to network with fellow peers and build new relationships. Attendees at this year’s IOF were positive that business would be generated from the meetings that took place.

International Outsourcing Forum – Locations 2010

We are delighted announce an additional event launch this year. In November 2010, the International Outsourcing Forum - Locations (IOFL) will provide an opportunity for companies to evaluate a range of locations for expansion, off shoring and outsourcing destinations. The event will be sponsored by the Andalucía Development Agency, IDEA. Buyer delegates will be individuals charged with sourcing new locations for company expansion and outsourcing that are actively looking at location options around the globe.

The aims of the event are to raise awareness of different global locations for those companies looking to re-locate or outsource business functions and to provide an insight into current location strategies.

About IOF 2011

There is no doubt that companies are now under huge pressure to show evidence of cost reduction, but this also needs to be achieved through a sustainable model. While there will be some ‘knee-jerk’ deals done as a reaction to the economic downturn, supplier value propositions are under the microscope as clients look ensure not only value for money, but also strategic success.

In addition, the amount of highly skilled labour currently unemployed around the world has made staffing a shared service centre or centre of excellence somewhat easier, in turn making the competitive landscape for IPAs (Investment Promotion Agencies) more fierce.

As an outsourcing supplier or IPA, does the market truly understand your value proposition?  Are you speaking to the right people, at the right time, to get your value proposition across?

As a company looking to outsource, do you know whom to go ahead with, how and where?

Now in its 8th year, IOF 2011 will provide an ideal opportunity for senior executives charged with outsourcing responsibilities to meet with major outsourcing supplier organisations and IPAs from all over the world.

Delegates from various industries including BFSI, telecom and retail will be present at the forum.

The supplier’s solutions will cover all facets of ITO, BPO, RPO and KPO.

For those looking at new locations for shared services and Centres of Excellence, IPAs from different geographical regions will be offering sourcing alternatives and promoting local outsourcing partners. This aspect will look at labour arbitrage, digital infrastructure, language capability and other areas that are imperative in selecting a sourcing location.
